Lonehill residents will be pleased to know that Johannesburg Water have finally repaired the sewerage leak on Forest Drive. The LRA Estate Manager worked tirelessly with Joburg Water to find the source of the leak, ensuring that it was repaired as a matter of urgency.
The LRA would like to thank Joburg Water for their quick response in getting this situation resolved.
Residents are warned however that sewerage has spilled into the Lonehill Dam and are urged to keep clear of the area until such time as the water is clean. They are currently dosing the dam with home brewed EM (Effective Microorganisms) and should be clear of any trace of sewerage by the end of next week Monday December 23, 2013.
