Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident in Monument, Krugersdorp this evening.
“Upon their arrival on scene they found a man in a serious condition following the shooting incident”, said Santi Steinmann.
The man was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
