Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Lynnwood Road near Solomon Mahlangu Drive this morning after 6am in Willow Glen, Pretoria.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two motor vehicles were involved in a partial head-on collision. Both drivers of the vehicles were found to be in a critical condition.
“The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift a man to hospital and the other critically injured man was rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care required”, said Santi Steinmann of Netcare 911.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
