While Cortac were doing their regular proactive patrolling on Friday March 21, 2014 at 10.30pm they spotted an occupant getting out of a Toyota Hilux on 20th Street in Parkhurst. On questioning and searching him they found a screw driver and computer box and established that he was in the process of stealing the Toyota Hilux.
While questioning the suspect, a pedestrian walked by. Cortac stopped and questioned him too and it was discovered that the two men were working together to steal the Hilux. SAPS were called and both men were arrested. Big thanks to the Cortac tactical officers!
