Bryanston Shopping Centre Refurbishment
It’s been a well-known and much loved landmark in the suburb of Bryanston for 30 years and recently Bryanston Shopping Centre got a well-deserved and eagerly anticipated makeover; with more to come.
The newly refurbished FNB opened on the 14th April 2014 and although the nearby entrance is still under construction, access can still be gained through the temporary tunnel which has been provided by the contractors. Part of this construction is to create additional outside seating for the highly anticipated Café del Sol who have started their fit out.
JRA (MW Civils) has commenced with a 16 week construction programme to upgrade external roads on Ballyclare Drive and Hobart Road, Phase 1 of which is to be completed by 25th April 2014. To accommodate the programme, Shell have closed and will commence with their own major upgrade shortly, hoping to open again in August 2014.
Currently, shoppers have access to additional parking on the new upper level deck as well as from the covered parking on the lower level where new entrances to the centre have been created.
As part of the final phase of the works, that is expected to conclude towards the middle of the year, Checkers will almost double in size with a complete refurbishment of their store.
