22 May 2014: Attempted house breaking and theft, Capricorn Drive The suspects breached the electric fence of the complex. Once inside they tried to gain access into one of the homes.
They were not successful and left the complex in the same manner that they had gained access. Residents are reminded of the following important numbers: Sector 4 SAPS vehicle: 071 675 7156 / 7 Douglasdale Police Station: 011 699 1333.
Residents are urged to contact these numbers directly in the event they witness, or are a victim of crime. Contacting the Sector 4 vehicle directly saves valuable time as the vehicle is dedicated to the area and can respond quicker than if dispatched through the central call centre in Midrand (10111).
