Johannesburg Flying Squad arrested a 36-year-old suspect for possession of a stolen motor vehicle next to Johannesburg Central Police station on Commissioner Street on June 10, 2014 at 12 noon.
Police were busy with their routine crime prevention duties when they saw a silver Dodge parked next to a police station with the driver inside the vehicle. Police searched him and checked the vehicle; it came out positive as a stolen vehicle and a case was opened at Elsburg police station in May 2014.
Suspect is detained at Johannesburg Central cells and will appear soon in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court.
