The Krejcir investigators are convinced that Sam Issa was shot and killed with both an AK47 rifle and a 9mm pistol. The story about him having being killed with an R5 rifle is exactly that, a story planted to send the investigators in the wrong direction.

The ballistic report on the R5 recovered in January in Rivonia came back negative. But the task team has been working very hard to find these murder weapons. Last night, the team found the weapons.

The police are now in an even stronger position to charge Krejcir and his associates for the murder of Sam Issa.

Another success in the on-going investigation, on Thursday morning the Krejcir investigators arrested an owner of a private security company. It is alleged that he was providing the alleged Krejcir hitmen with GPS coordinates of the victims’ location. This is a massive success and the National Commissioner, General Riah Phiyega, congratulated the Krejcir investigating team and said she is extremely proud of the excellent work they are doing. The private security owner is a South African male and is 36 years old.

The security company boss will appear today in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court alongside #Krejcir, Owen Serero, Jacob Nare, Siboniso Miya, Zudumo Biyela, Sergeant Nandi Nkosi, Welcome Mafunda, Mike Borislov Grigorov and Siphiwe Memela on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition as well as the murder of Phumlani Ncube. It is expected that they will be served with an indictment. The matter will then be moved to a high court.
