On Wednesday November 27, 2013 the Hawks in Johannesburg arrested a 40-year-old Zimbabwean man, Ndabezinhle Ndlovu in an upmarket suburb house in Sandton for fraud. This man is believed to be a Zimbabwean fraud syndicate ring leader, allegedly creating fraudulent vehicle papers and retail accounts.

While searching the man’s residence 268 fraudulent duplicated vehicles documents and four newly made Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) were seized.

Over 80 fraudulent account documents from the two well-known retail shops and nearly 2000 fraudulent Castrol oil and coolant antifreeze stickers were also seized.

The suspect briefly appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ court today facing over 400 fraud charges. The case was postponed to next week Thursday, 05 December for a formal bail application while the suspect remains in custody.
