On Thursday June 26, 2014 at about 8.30pm the police in Pretoria Central were patrolling the area. Officers received a lookout for a suspicious white Golf driving on Mandela drive on the corner of Nana Sita Street. The vehicle was allegedly involved in an armed robbery.
The police spotted the vehicle with three suspicious males inside, they tried to stop the vehicle but it sped off, the police gave chase until the vehicle was stopped.
When the police search the vehicle they found a laptop, hard drive and tablets which suspects could not account for.
Further investigation revealed that the items were taken in the Fourways area during armed robbery. The three suspects were between the ages of 25 and 30 years. They were detained in Pretoria Central on charges of possession of suspected stolen property and armed robbery.
The suspects will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate Court Soon.
