A worker at a Circus sustained critical injuries after he was attacked by one of the Tigers that happened to escape from his enclosure. Exact detail as to how the tiger got out of the enclosure is still speculative at this stage.
Paramedics received the call at around 7.50am and raced to the circus site in Beyers Naude Drive in Rietfontein. When they arrived at the scene they found a man lying on the ground with severe bite wound and lacerations to his neck and chest.
Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the man on scene before they transported him to a nearby hospital for the specialised care that he required.
