Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident on Mimetes Road in Denver, Roodepoort this morning.
“Upon their arrival on scene they found that a man had tragically died and a woman was found to be in a critical condition”, said Santi Steinmann of Netcare 911.
The woman was treated on scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care she required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
