Yesterday afternoon, January 22nd 2013, EMER-G-MED’s A07, RV07, M09 and M05 responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision on the N1 North before Botha Avenue in Centurion.
Paramedics arrived on scene to find that a pedestrian had been knocked-down by a light motor vehicle.
The injured man sustained critical injuries. Advanced Life Support was initiated and the man was placed on life support.
Once stabilized on scene the critically injured man was flown to Kalafong Hospital by an emergency helicopter.
TMPD as well as the SAPS were on scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
