Gold Reef City’s latest 4D theatre offering, The Good, The Bad and A Horse 4D, promises to entertain all thrill-seeking audiences with its state of the art technology, digital effects and motions seats.
This comic adventure is set in the Wild, Wild West and features a brave young sheriff in pursuit of the meanest, stinkiest and baddest bandit in the land. The sheriff is pursuing a bank robber who evaded capture by means of a most unusual weapon and escaped aboard a train.
The lawman chases the villain down, accompanied by the West’s most naughty, most reluctant and most apple-minded of steeds. From a shoot-out in a dark mine to a hair-raising chase on a hazardous railroad, this fast-paced tale offers a truly immersive 4D experience with surround sound, special 4D effects including lightning, scent, explosions and wind blasts.
Whereas 2D and 3D movies rely mostly on sight and sound to draw audiences in, 4D is a more immersive sensory experience making the audience feel like they are actually part of the movie. Moving seats, large fans above the screen and little spurts of air coming from the headrests all add the special effects that make the viewing so much more entertaining. Gold Reef City’s 96-seater 4D Theatre ride brings cinematic entertainment to spectacular life in a glorious four dimensional space.
