Johannesburg Central Police arrested two suspects between the age of 20 and 22 for common robbery at corner Ferreira and Marshall Street on April 22, 2014 at 10am.
It is alleged that two suspects robbed a 42-year-old female at corner Marshall and Ferreira Street at 9.45am. The victim was on her way back from a coffee shop when suspects approached her; one of them grabbed her silver necklace and fled the scene.
She screamed for help and police who were busy with their crime prevention duties apprehended both suspects; her necklace was recovered.
The suspects are detained at Johannesburg Central cells and they will appear soon in Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court.
