Following the recent Fourways’ road rage incident involving the Porche, Douglasdale CPF Chairman Jean Berdou is appealing to residents to refrain from road rage. By engaging in road rage you increase the risk to yourself, passengers and other vehicle in circumstances where is it unlikely that the risk is unworthy of taking part in.
He appeals to all motorists not to be provoked and to maintain composure in the traffic. Swearing, dangerous driving, assault to other drivers or damaging their property will result in criminal prosecution.
Berdou calls upon members to record and report any road rage incidents to police so that perpetrators can be brought to book.
Ismail Vadi the MEC of Gauteng Transport has confirmed that the William Nicol road works between Fourways Mall and Steyn City will be complete by the end of November, 2014.
