FIVE armed suspects broke into Radovan Krejcir’s house in Bedfordview and stole two firearms, cellular phones, cash and computers during the early hours today. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the break-in.
Krejcir’s two sons, their mother and a girlfriend were sleeping when they were awoken by armed men who pointed firearms at them. They demanded firearms and cash. The suspects gained entry into the house by breaking through the kitchen door. They tied up the family with shoelaces and electric cords before ransacking the bedrooms. They took two firearms – a 9mm and a revolver, a loaded magazine and loose bullets. They also took the eldest son’s girlfriend’s car, three cellular phones, an apple laptop and a desktop computer.
They put the eldest son in the bathroom and put a towel over his head and forced the others to lie down in one room. Some of the suspects escaped through the back while others drove out of the yard. No arrests and police investigations are continuing.
